We are planning another Christmas Day event this year and are keeping our fingers crossed government restrictions don’t change so it can be an ‘in person’ event again unlike last year where we delivered meals and gift bags to people in their homes.
The event will be held in Corsham Scout Hall to give us more space for more guests. It is a free event for those who would otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day. We provide guests with a 3-course lunch, entertainment, a raffle, a small guest goody bag, and transport if required for Corsham, Chippenham and surrounding areas. Due to the capacity of the venue, places are limited. It is essential that all guests pre-book, places are on a first-come, first confirmed basis.
We are asking local businesses, organisations and individuals for their generosity and support toward the event. We would be very grateful for any items you could donate to be included as a raffle prize or in the guest's goody bag e.g. non-perishable foods, chocolates, biscuits, socks, gloves, scarves, toiletries (not bath products please), small gifts. Any donations would be a huge help towards making someone’s Christmas this year.
